試譯卡羅‧布拉喬的〈蝴蝶〉

卡羅．布拉喬朗讀〈邊緣潤滑之水〉

墨西哥女詩人卡羅‧布拉喬（Coral Bracho）曾獲邀參與由北島策劃的「香港國際詩歌之夜2009」，並在11月29日夜晚的「閉幕朗誦會」上朗讀作品。其中一首名為〈邊緣潤滑之水〉（Agua de bordes lúbricos）的詩作，令人印象深刻——詩裏多次提到「水」（Agua）字，詩歌音韻亦很能模仿流水的動態。

女詩人當晚所讀的詩作都收錄於活動的詩歌編集《另一種聲音》中。集子裏非以中英文寫成的詩歌均附有英譯及中譯，確然不負「國際詩歌」之名。以下〈蝴蝶〉一詩，《另》書裏的中譯本句序並非與原文（及英譯）相對應。以下拙譯乃根據英譯本翻譯而成，並參考了在英國留學時認識的智利室友對原作的解釋和意見。

Como una moneda girando
bajo el hilo de sol
cruza la mariposa encendida
ante la flor de albahaca.

以下為女詩人於活動時朗讀作品的片段。當中7:45至8:01所讀的正是〈蝴蝶〉一詩；而0:21至4:44所讀的，就是上文提過的〈邊緣潤滑之水〉，布拉喬在朗讀前略作解說：「這首詩是關於水的，並嘗試捕捉水的流動。另外，這也是首關於喜悅的詩。（This poem is about water, and tries to get close to the movement of water. And it’s also about pleasure.）」
